Banpaku Kinen Koen (Expo ’70 Commemorative Park)

Surrounded by flowers and greenery, let’s work up a sweat and have a fun doing exercises with your family and friends!

Banpaku Kinen Koen is a large park that features various sports facilities, where you can get active and also enjoy beautiful seasonal flowers. The outer lane of the park is a standard running course measuring five kilometers per lap. In early April, you can have the special experience of running on pathways lined with cherry trees in full bloom. Attractions that your family can enjoy together, such as unique bicycle rides and renting cycle boats that run on the surface of the water, are also available. The park even features a Japanese Garden and spa.

Mizuno Running Station

Very convenient for running in the Nakanoshima neighborhood – Osakajo Koen (Osaka-jo Castle Park)

Mizuno Running Station is located on the basement floor of the Mizuno Osaka Shop. You can use the facility to change your clothes for running; lockers and men’s and women’s shower rooms are also available. The facility is neat and clean. After a run, you can enjoy shopping at the Mizuno directory-operated shop.

Maishima Infinity Circuit

A full-scale sports-kart that has a reputation for its accessibility and ease of use.

Maishima Infinity Circuit is a sports-kart circuit in the Maishima, Reinkai Area. Here, you can easily experience sports-kart driving, as a driver’s license is not required and free helmets and gloves are available. Its course is a combination of a straight line, on which you can enjoy the maximum speed, and technical curves, where driving can become more complicated. It has a reputation for making people, from beginners to the more advanced, “get hot”.

  • Charge: A general charge of 2,500 yen for 5 laps. You can also purchase a trial pack (3 laps + 5 laps, including a facemask) for 3,800 yen (for women or Junior High school students or younger, the price is 3,300 yen). Lastly, you can rent a two-seater at 2,000 yen for 3 laps
    ※ Other restrictions: You must be 145cm or taller. Those who are pregnant or consuming alcohol are not allowed to operate the sports-karts.

Naniwa Ice Rink

Let’s take a cool turn!

Naniwa Ice Rink is an ice rink located near downtown Osaka, and thus is easy to access. You can enjoy ice skating here throughout year. It is attractive that even in mid-summer you can skate in the cool rink. Demonstration performances by the rink’s skating school graduates are held on Sunday afternoons.
